Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Georges throws a body punch but Azuma moves out of range.
Azuma attempts a counter takedown but Georges avoids it well and moves away.
The fighters circling - Georges throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Azuma throws a lazy body kick
and Georges counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Azuma throws a head kick but Georges moves out of range.
Azuma uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Georges digs a good body shot into Azuma's ribs.
Georges fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Azuma avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Azuma misses with a low kick.

Georges changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Azuma looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Azuma tries to bench press Georges off him but Georges keeps the position.

Azuma is working to avoid the ground and pound but Georges connects with a decent elbow.

Georges tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Georges wants to control but Azuma is keeping him busy.

Georges is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Azuma has escaped the position, nice work there.

Georges goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Azuma has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Georges but great work by Azuma.
Georges is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Azuma off and has taken his back!

Georges has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Azuma has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Georges has got his arm under Azuma's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Azuma has spun round into Georges's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Georges working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Azuma doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Azuma manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Azuma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Georges swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Georges is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Georges throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Azuma escapes and throws Georges's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Georges can't do much from the bottom here.
Georges regains half guard.
Georges tries to roll over but Azuma keeps him under control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Azuma wants to free his trapped foot but Georges is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Azuma looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

We've been hearing good reports from Azuma's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Georges makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Georges.

Azuma lands with a kick to the ribs.
Azuma staying out of range there.
Azuma is looking to clinch but Georges is avoiding it.
Georges connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Georges.
Georges takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Georges misses with a hook. Azuma ducked under it nicely.

Azuma lands a big right hand that sends Georges crashing to the mat! Azuma stays standing though and waves Georges back to his feet!

Georges is rocked!

It looks like Guy Georges has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Azuma shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Georges takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Azuma sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Georges bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
