The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maanpohja throws a series of punches but Jokinen moves out of range.

We've been hearing reports that Maanpohja has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Johannes Maanpohja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jokinen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Maanpohja has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
