Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Paul Mctanned and Jack Fall. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Paul Mctanned! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Jack Fall!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Fall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mctanned.
Fall leaves Mctanned with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mctanned darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Mctanned is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fall!

Fall really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Fall is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fall gets back to half guard.
Fall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mctanned is working away from the top position though.

Mctanned wants to pass the guard but Fall is defending well.

Mctanned has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Fall!

Mctanned is working for a guillotine from mount but Fall frees his head quite easily.
Mctanned looking to control and managing it successfully.
Fall tries to lock up and control but Mctanned gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mctanned seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Fall is holding on tight.

Mctanned has control of Fall's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fall regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fall gets back to half guard.

Mctanned wants to free his trapped foot but Fall is holding on for dear life with his legs.
We've been hearing that Mctanned has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The fighters are battling for position here. Fall manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Fall not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Fall had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mctanned defends it easily.

Fall working for a triangle but Mctanned defends it easily.
Mctanned pushing down on Fall's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fall trying to control here.
Mctanned wants to free his trapped foot but Fall is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Mctanned is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mctanned is working for a submission of some sort.
Fall moves into full guard.
Fall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mctanned manages to get himself to full guard.

Fall thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Mctanned pushes a forearm under Fall's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fall is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
