The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Mackenzie. Berger does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mackenzie gets caught flat footed, as Berger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Berger being controlled here momentarily.
Berger has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Berger controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mackenzie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Berger defends it easily.

Berger is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Berger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mackenzie's guard.
Still in half guard, Berger seems content to control.
Mackenzie moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Berger has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mackenzie to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Berger is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mackenzie pulls down on the head and he's put Berger to sleep! This one is all over!
