Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yoshiro Makamori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a wild body shot.
Makamori misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jackson throws a looping overhand right but Makamori ducks down to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Makamori looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jackson slips a jab from Makamori.
Jackson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Makamori is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Makamori throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Makamori is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Makamori down to the mat. Makamori avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Makamori wants to clinch but Jackson slips to the side

and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown. Makamori fights it but they end up in guard.
Makamori manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.

Makamori trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Makamori can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Makamori stays in close to Jackson's body and controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson can't keep his opponent in guard - Makamori advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Makamori is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jackson sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jackson is not content to let Makamori control the position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Makamori in particular looking to stall.
Jackson is refusing to be controlled, as Makamori sits in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jackson tries to get to full guard but Makamori has control of the leg.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Donnie Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Makamori getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Makamori throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jackson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jackson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Makamori looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Jackson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Makamori is looking to slow Jackson down with leg kicks.

A close round but Donnie Jackson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Makamori.
Makamori stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Good work by Makamori as he checks the leg kick.
Jackson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Makamori's head.

It looks like Yoshiro Makamori has been cut.
Jackson missing with a left hand there. Makamori was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jackson misses with a few strikes there.

Makamori was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Makamori throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Makamori lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jackson's sensitive parts.

Donnie Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jackson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Makamori.
Jackson stalks Makamori and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Makamori's face. Makamori staggers backwards, shaken.

Oh Makamori is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
