Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ottway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Saint!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Ottway!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Saint.

Ottway gets a clinch.
Saint doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Ottway makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Saint breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Saint looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nice straight punches there by Saint. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Saint.
Saint stuffs the takedown.
Saint works the jab nicely.
Ottway tries to close the distance and clinch up but Saint swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ottway closes the distance and clinches up with Saint, looking for a takedown. Ottway pushes Saint against the cage but Saint circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Saint avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ottway displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Saint.
Ottway stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ottway wants it to stay on the feet.
Saint fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ottway shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Saint cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Johnny Saint has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Ottway.
Good shot there by Saint.
Saint throws a low kick, looking for Ottway's leg but Ottway calmly moves out of range.
Saint misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Saint scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Ottway darts in looking for a takedown but Saint gets double underhooks and turns Ottway into the cage.
Ottway tries to move into range but Saint moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ottway shoots and misses
and Saint counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Ottway is rocked!
Ottway looks winded!
Ottway looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Saint is fending him off so far but Ottway persists. Nope, Saint circles away and we're back to standing.
Ottway is still on wobbly legs! Can Saint finish him?

Saint closes the distance looking for a takedown. Ottway stuffs it but Saint still has hold of him. Saint picks Ottway up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Saint slams Ottway to the floor and that's really hurt Ottway - he doesn't know where he is! Saint throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Saint!
After the fight, Johnny Saint was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
