Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAngelo Suggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 8 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luke Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, DeAngelo Suggs!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suggs uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Suggs lands a really nice looking cross but Jones seems unphased.
Suggs lands a nice shot that snaps Jones's head back.
Suggs stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Suggs looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Suggs.
Suggs does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Jones has been working on his balance at Kebab House, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Suggs.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Suggs is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.
Suggs keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suggs working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jones.

Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Suggs's head.
Jones is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jones scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Suggs felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Jones lands a hook that snaps the head of Suggs backwards.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Suggs gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Suggs breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Suggs counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jones's knee momentarily.
Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Luke Jones will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Luke Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

I think Suggs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
