The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jabbar drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Andersson slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jabbar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Andersson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looked like Andersson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Jabbar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Andersson's elbow.

Andersson tries to bum rush Jabbar with a series of wild strikes but Jabbar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Andersson is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Andersson tries to get to full guard but Jabbar has control of the leg.
Andersson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jabbar is working away from the top position though.

Jabbar is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Andersson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jabbar.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jabbar is working for a kimura but Andersson is defending it quite comfortably.

Jabbar throws a lazy right hand but Andersson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jabbar dives in for a single leg takedown but Andersson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Andersson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Andersson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jabbar.
A quick step to the side and Andersson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jabbar misses with a hook. Andersson ducked under it nicely.
Andersson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jabbar doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Andersson looks for the body kick but Jabbar saw that one coming.
A little jabbing left from Jabbar on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Andersson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jabbar backs up against the cage.
Jabbar connects with a good right hand that stumbles Andersson. Andersson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Andersson is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Andersson wants to hold on but Jabbar pushes him away.

Andersson really wants to buck Jabbar off and get back to his feet.

Jabbar is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Andersson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Andersson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Jabbar anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Andersson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Jabbar slips an arm under Andersson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Jabbar has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Jabbar is squeezing on Andersson like an anaconda would it's prey. Andersson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
