Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noad Lahat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedor Kozlov had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lahat lands a nice hook to Kozlov's body. Kozlov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Noad Lahat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lahat jabs at Kozlov's body.
Kozlov cracks the inside of Lahat's front leg.
Lahat scores with a jab. Kozlov acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Lahat scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Kozlov gets a double leg takedown into Lahat's guard.
Kozlov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lahat, up you get!

Lahat fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kozlov tries for a takedown but Lahat circles away easily
and Lahat cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lahat gets tackled into the cage by Kozlov. Kozlov maintains the clinch.
Kozlov manages to break the clinch.
Kozlov drops his hands momentarily and Lahat takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kozlov shoots for a double leg takedown but Lahat sprawls well. He's pushed Kozlov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kozlov or perhaps it was just good defense by Lahat, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Kozlov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kozlov drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kozlov rushes Lahat and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lahat wants to get back to striking at distance but Kozlov won't allow it.
Kozlov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lahat's efforts to push away.
Kozlov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lahat can't fight it off and eventually Kozlov manages to take the fight to the floor. Lahat looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kozlov won't allow Lahat to get back to his feet.

Kozlov wants to control from the top but Lahat keeps moving.

Kozlov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lahat tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kozlov is in Lahat's guard.
Lahat is trying to control the position but Kozlov postures up.
Lahat told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Lahat is trying to hold Kozlov in close to prevent damage but Kozlov has managed to pass into half guard.
Lahat is looking for a sweep. Kozlov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lahat holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

A close round but Noad Lahat will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kozlov shoots and misses
and Lahat counters with a nice uppercut.
Crunch! Kozlov slams his shin into Lahat's torso.
Kozlov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Lahat wants to get back to full guard but Kozlov has mounted him!
Kozlov breaks from Lahat's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Kozlov in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Lahat tries to reverse the position but Kozlov maintains control.
Kozlov avoids the attempt from Lahat to control.
Lahat is trying to escape the mount.

Kozlov is landing with some decent strikes but Lahat is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Lahat is rocked!
Kozlov lands a big shot to the head and Lahat winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
