Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Rodelin!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kissel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kissel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kissel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rodelin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kissel but Kissel pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rodelin rushes Kissel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rodelin is trying to pull guard but Kissel turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Darren Kissel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Rodelin.

Oooooh!!! Kissel has knocked Rodelin down with a huge combo! Kissel steps away and waves a wobbly Rodelin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Brian Rodelin has been cut.

Kissel pushes Rodelin back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kissel lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rodelin backwards.
Kissel works on Rodelin's body with a couple of short punches.

Rodelin is trying to pull guard but Kissel turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Rodelin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Kissel drops Rodelin onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Rodelin is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Kissel pushes Rodelin against the cage and as Rodelin bounces back, Kissel cracks him with a massive overhand right that sends him crashing to the mat! Kissel follows up with more strikes but Rodelin was out from that first, devastating punch! Wow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Darren Kissel!
A relieved looking Darren Kissel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
