Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Shelby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jahll Gunacrii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shelby comes to the cage accompanied by Red Right Hand. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shelby fails with an attempt to clinch.

Shelby shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shelby showed some decent athleticism there.
Shelby wants to control but Gunacrii is keeping him busy.
Shelby tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gunacrii knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Shelby decides to stand and escape the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A shot to the body from Shelby misses
and Gunacrii counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Shelby rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gunacrii moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Shelby drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gunacrii controls Shelby momentarily but Shelby frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shelby thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Gunacrii has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Hut - $50. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Shelby drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shelby jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gunacrii is trying to keep Shelby in close.

Shelby drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gunacrii looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gunacrii looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gunacrii!

Gunacrii is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Shelby will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Gunacrii is looking to take a break and control but Shelby is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gunacrii wants to take a breather but Shelby manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Gunacrii.
Gunacrii stops Shelby from standing up.

Gunacrii wants to control from the top but Shelby keeps moving.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shelby is defended easily by Gunacrii.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gunacrii is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Shelby trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunacrii is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gunacrii is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Gunacrii has his foot on Shelby's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shelby works his way back into a safe position though.

Shelby tries to score with a low kick but Gunacrii moves his leg out of the way.
Gunacrii misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Shelby gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gunacrii counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tommy Shelby is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Shelby doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Shelby shoots in looking for a takedown but Gunacrii manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shelby's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Shelby throws a leg kick but Gunacrii sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Gunacrii uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Shelby has time to react.
Shelby moves in looking to clinch but Gunacrii pushes him off.
Shelby shoots in and drives through. Gunacrii sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Shelby. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Shelby takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Shelby takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gunacrii cracks Shelby with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Gunacrii lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Shelby - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Gunacrii!

A relieved looking Jahll Gunacrii thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
