The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunson walks into a left hand.
Brunson throws a lazy right hand but Axiom sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Axiom misses with a hook. Brunson ducked under it nicely.
Axiom throws a right and a left that Brunson avoids nicely.
Brunson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Axiom sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brunson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The fighters circling - Brunson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Brunson moves into the clinch successfully.
Axiom is trying to force a seperation but Brunson has the dominant position.
Axiom pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Axiom throws an overhand right that lands on Brunson's shoulder, as Brunson tries to avoid the shot.
Axiom bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brunson's head backwards.
Doyle Brunson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Axiom scores with a one two! Brunson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Brunson throws a hook to the side of Axiom's head but Axiom sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Axiom went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Brunson has managed to clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Brunson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Axiom's brow.
Axiom breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brunson moves away from the strike by Axiom.
Brunson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Axiom.

Axiom looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Axiom tries to bum rush Brunson with a series of wild strikes but Brunson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A looping hook to the body misses from Brunson. Axiom does a little dance to reset his feet.
Brunson lands with a hook. Axiom tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Brunson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Axiom! Brunson lets Axiom back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ragnar Axiom's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Doyle Brunson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
