Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Dux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Hall!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux throws a lazy uppercut
and Hall counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hall is looking to slow Dux down with leg kicks.
Dux takes a swing at Hall's ribcage but misses.
Hall has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Dux lands with a right hand.
Dux goes for a double leg but Hall avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hall continues to drive forward.
Dux lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hall at a distance.
Hall misses with a body shot.
Dux thumps Hall with a low kick.
Hall slips under a jab.
Nice uppercut there from Dux.
Hall cracks the inside of Dux's front leg.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dux throws a body shot but no joy.
Hall leaves Dux with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dux connects with a right hand. Hall shakes it off.

Hall walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Dux fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hall.
Dux loads up on a big right hand but Hall slips the punch.
And Hall tries to counter it with a takedown but Dux pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Dux takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dux ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hall moves away.
Dux moves out of range of the strikes.
Hall uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dux.
Dux tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dux somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Dux. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dux cracks Hall with a good jab.
Dux shoots for a takedown but Hall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hall jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dux is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hall winds up and cracks Dux with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Dux is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hall pulls his head out easily.
We've been hearing good reports from Dux's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Hall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Dux is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Justin Hall dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Dux throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hall.
Hall dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dux. That did some damage!
Dux shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hall pinned against the cage. Hall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dux throws a hook but Hall avoids it easily.

Hall's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dux connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hall scrambles back to his feet.

Hall tries to move into range but Dux moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hall takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dux misses with a hook. Hall ducked under it nicely.

and Hall counters with an outside leg kick.
Hall throws a good cross that connects.


It looks like John Dux has been cut.

Hall slips under a jab from Dux.
Hall takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hall looks to land a right hand but Dux moved out of range.
A quick step to the side and Dux tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dux takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Hall connects with an inside leg kick.
Dux connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dux pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hall back to the cage. Dux follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dux.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hall. That's going to slow Dux down.

Dux tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hall pounces like a tiger and cracks Dux with a vicious hook! Dux is down but not out! Hall follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Justin Hall!
