Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tre Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jessie Holloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Loser: Beck. Jessie Holloway will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing good reports from Spar's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Spar has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Holloway is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Spar.

Spar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Holloway's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Holloway's back!

Spar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Spar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Spar slaps away a takedown attempt from Holloway, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Spar's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Holloway connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Spar scrambles back to his feet.

Spar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Holloway is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Holloway goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Spar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holloway tries to avoid it but Spar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holloway to the ground. Holloway escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Spar has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Holloway after a bit of a struggle.

Holloway pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Holloway looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Spar drops down looking for a counter takedown but Holloway sprawls and moves away.
Jessie Holloway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Spar was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Holloway shoots in but Spar avoids the takedown attempt easily.
