Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Brezze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nicolas Wall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tyler Brezze!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Brezze. That's going to slow Wall down.
Wall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brezze.
Brezze shoots in looking for a takedown but Wall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brezze's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Brezze just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromWall.

Brezze has closed the distance and engaged Wall in a clinch.
Wall wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brezze has him pressed against the cage.
Brezze is trying to pull guard but Wall has him pressed against the cage.
Nicolas Wall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Brezze.
Brezze goes for a takedown attempt but Wall pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Brezze shoots in for a takedown but Wall shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Brezze darts in looking for a takedown but Wall gets double underhooks and turns Brezze into the cage.
Wall throws a big counter combination but Brezze scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brezze wants to counter with a clinch but Wall pushes him away.
Brezze shoots for a double leg takedown but Wall sprawls well. He's pushed Brezze's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Wall scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Wall seems to be looking for submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Brezze wants to get back to his feet.
Brezze manages to reverse the position and now he's in Wall's guard. Nice work there by Brezze.
Wall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brezze manages to get himself to full guard.

Brezze bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wall's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Wall had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brezze defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Wall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wall thinks about countering with a head kick.
Brezze shoots in for a double leg but Wall sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wall shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brezze defends it nicely.
Wall throws a head kick but Brezze moves out of range.
Brezze changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Brezze shoots in but no luck this time.

Wall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brezze tries to avoid it but Wall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brezze to the ground. Brezze escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A head kick misses from Wall.
Wall tries a head kick but it misses.
Brezze shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wall as he jumps to the side.
A big right from Wall misses.
Brezze is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Brezze uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wall.

Brezze clinches up against the cage.
Brezze keeps control of Wall as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Brezze is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Brezze is breathing heavily.
Brezze avoiding damage as Wall throws knees to the body.

Wall breaks the clinch.
Wall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wall tries for a takedown but Brezze sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Brezze is looking for the big counter here.
Tyler Brezze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brezze looks to land a combination but Wall avoids it well.
Brezze fails to land the takedown.
Wall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brezze sprawls well. Brezze wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wall gets slowly back to his feet.

Brezze moves into range and clinches up with Wall.

Brezze goes for a takedown attempt but Wall pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Brezze tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brezze somewhat.
As Brezze tries to get set, Wall tries to push him back and clinch up but Brezze manages to avoid the attempt.
Wall fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Brezze checks it well.
Wall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brezze paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brezze tries to counter with a clinch but Wall shakes him off and moves away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wall.
Brezze is trying to improve his position.

Wall working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Brezze tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Wall easily slips into full mount!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Brezze is wriggling around trying to escape.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Wall scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Brezze can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brezze is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Wall is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Brezze trying to hold on to Wall's head to control him but Wall postures up.
Wall stops Brezze from getting back to his feet.
Brezze wants to control but Wall is keeping busy.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Brezze gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Brezze keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Wall's efforts to push away.
Wall tries to break the clinch but Brezze is controlling the position.
Wall wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Brezze pulls guard successfully.
Brezze looking for a sweep. Not yet Brezze, not yet.
Brezze is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Brezze takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Wall lands a couple of elbows.

Brezze has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wall is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brezze.

Brezze is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wall connects with a decent elbow.
Wall working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Wall goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Brezze rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Wall's guard! Nice work there by Brezze!
Wall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brezze can do to turn this around?
Wall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Wall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wall, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
