Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Deangelo Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock Lesnar has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Deangelo Perry's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Deangelo Perry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar just misses with a punch to the body.
Perry appears to be looking for a big counter.

Lesnar darts in and clinches Perry up against the cage.

Lesnar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Perry is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lesnar.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lesnar. That's going to slow Perry down.

Lesnar dives in and scores a takedown into Perry's guard.

Perry looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Perry is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lesnar defends well.
Perry tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lesnar trying to control but Perry is working from the bottom.

Lesnar might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Perry haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lesnar is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Perry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lesnar throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Lesnar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Lesnar closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Perry quickly recovers to half guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Lesnar closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Perry did well to prevent Lesnar getting side control.
Lesnar lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Perry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lesnar is working for a submission of some sort.
Lesnar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perry is working to get back to half guard.

Lesnar lands a couple of good shots and Perry has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Lesnar has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Perry has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Lesnar clinches up with Perry and pushes him back against the cage.

Lesnar manages to break the clinch.
Lesnar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Perry.
A nice side step and Lesnar releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Perry is pushing Lesnar's head away, looking to escape. Lesnar manages to hold on to the position though.
Perry is not content to let Lesnar control the position.

Perry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Perry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lesnar, pushing him back against the cage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Lesnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lesnar looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lesnar takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Lesnar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Perry is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lesnar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lesnar's back!

Perry has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Lesnar is in real trouble here. Perry gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Lesnar is tapping out! Perry wins by rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Deangelo Perry!
