Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Karl De Groot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan McKay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

McKay lands a nice leg kick that just misses De Groot's sensitive parts.
McKay has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from De Groot.
De Groot throws a jab but it's blocked by McKay.
McKay throws out a counter right but De Groot avoids it with no problem.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! De Groot crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McKay - the referee stops the clock and De Groot gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McKay. De Groot manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

De Groot takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

De Groot cracks McKay with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! McKay is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and McKay is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! McKay could not beat the count!
