Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Tyson Jr!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson Jr dives in and scores a takedown into Reed's guard.

Reed wants to sweep here but Tyson Jr controlling him for the moment.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Reed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Tyson Jr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Reed manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Reed bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tyson Jr's guard.

Reed might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Tyson Jr isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Reed stacks Tyson Jr on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Reed!

Tyson Jr is looking for a sweep. Reed is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reed thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tyson Jr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reed is working away from the top position though.
Jack Tyson Jr has got the better of the ground game so far.

Tyson Jr manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Reed keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Reed throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tyson Jr was covering up waiting for the punch and Reed finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Reed is looking to work some ground and pound but Tyson Jr has wrist control.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reed is on top in guard.


Tyson Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Reed postures up in Tyson Jr's guard and throws a big left but Tyson Jr blocks it.

Reed keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tyson Jr's head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Christoper Reed will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Tyson Jr closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Tyson Jr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reed does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Tyson Jr is pressing down on Reed's thigh, looking to free his foot. Reed is holding on for now.
Tyson Jr looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Reed gets back to full guard.
Reed is striking off his back. Tyson Jr thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Reed is trying to maintain the position but Tyson Jr is very close to passing his half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Reed gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reed is on top in guard.


Tyson Jr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well Tyson Jr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
