Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khristian Call (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Khristian Call!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robbie Henderson!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Call backs up against the cage.
Henderson fails to land with a series of punches.
Henderson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Call throws a big counter combination but Henderson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Henderson throws a right hand that Call ducks under and follows up with a left that Call also avoids with ease.
Call half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Call avoids a punch combination nicely.

Henderson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Call!


Call is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Henderson tries to advance to mount but Call instead regains half guard.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Henderson throwing shots but Call is blocking nicely.
Call gets back to full guard.
Henderson throws a strike but Call rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Henderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Call. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Call looking to pass the guard.
Call trying to control the position from guard on top but Henderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Call is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Henderson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Henderson has escaped and now he's on top!

Call working for a triangle but Henderson defends it easily.

Call looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Henderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Call is retaining full guard.
Call avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Henderson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Henderson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Call is keeping the position for now.
Henderson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Call's head.
Call keeping moving, preventing Henderson from controlling successfully.

Call is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Henderson defends well.
Henderson stands and throws Call's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Call is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Call is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Call is breathing heavily.
Call throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Henderson is keen to just control but Call is a slippery customer.
Henderson wants to stand but Call has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Call keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Henderson trying to pass the guard but Call defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Call looking for submissions off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Call on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Call moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Henderson throws an elbow that misses. Call uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Henderson's guard. Nice move by Call!
Henderson wants to sweep but no luck.
Call stops Henderson from standing up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Call sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Henderson's guard.
Call not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robbie Henderson dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Call throws a big counter combination but Henderson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Henderson has managed to clinch.

Call pulls guard effortlessly.

Call looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Call seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Henderson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Henderson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Henderson wants to pass the guard but Call is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Call throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Henderson landing with the ground and pound.
Henderson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Khristian Call overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Henderson with a flurry of punches that miss.
Call is trying to keep Henderson in close.
Henderson cracks Call with a solid left hand.
Call preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Henderson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Henderson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Oh Call is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Henderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Call is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Call seems to have got his legs back now.
Henderson lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Henderson loads up on a big left hand. Call felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Henderson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Call can't hide his disappointment, as Henderson celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robbie Henderson!
