Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray's entrance music is Skindred - Warning. A fine choice. Nick Gray has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray falls off balance throwing a combination

and Gonzalez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gonzalez seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Gray really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gray is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gray is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gonzalez pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Let's hope that Gonzalez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Gonzalez has an Americana. Gray didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gonzalez is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gonzalez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
