Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Powell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timothy McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Powell comes to the cage accompanied by The Big Payback - James Brown. McGee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Invaders must die - The prodigy. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powell throws a right hand that misses
letting McGee counter with a right hand.
Powell lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Powell misses with an uppercut
and McGee counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Powell has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Powell lands with a nice body punch.
McGee slips a jab and a cross from Powell.
McGee avoids a punch combination nicely.
A countering left hand to the body from McGee misses.
Powell darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
McGee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Powell is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Powell takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Powell lands with an uppercut that bounces McGee off the cage and back into range.

Powell lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

A less than humble Jamal Powell misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
