Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lexi Belle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romeo Hernanes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernanes has chosen Awolnation - Sail as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Romeo Hernanes!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belle shoots and misses
and Hernanes counters with a two punch combo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Belle. Hernanes does a little dance to reset his feet.
A lazy body kick from Belle
and Hernanes holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Belle tries to break the clinch but Hernanes is controlling the position.
Belle is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hernanes pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hernanes lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Hernanes tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Belle has clasped his hands together around Hernanes's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Belle is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hernanes knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Belle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hernanes is just riding it out for now. Belle eventually gives up the hold.

Belle postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hernanes is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Belle, into his guard.

Belle has an active guard here but Hernanes has managed to pass into half guard.
Hernanes stands up from half guard.
Hernanes lands a high kick to the side of Belle's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Hernanes dives into guard, looking to finish.

It looks like Lexi Belle has been cut.

Belle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hernanes is aware though and is defending well.
Oh Belle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hernanes gets to his feet - Belle follows without any prompting.

Belle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Belle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hernanes circles away.

Belle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hernanes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hernanes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Belle wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

and Hernanes counters with a nice uppercut.
Hernanes slips a jab and a cross from Belle.
Hernanes tries to counter with a clinch but Belle shakes him off and moves away.
No luck for Belle with that takedown attempt.
Belle is breathing heavily.
Hernanes gets a clinch.
Hernanes connects with a nasty looking knee right to Belle's face.
Hernanes tries a knee to the head but Belle blocks it.
Belle tries to pull guard but Hernanes won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Romeo Hernanes dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Lexi Belle's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hernanes keeps the fight on the outside.
Belle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hernanes defends it nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Hernanes counters with a good, hard body kick but Belle shrugs it off.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Belle explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Hernanes prevents Belle from breaking the clinch.
Belle changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hernanes fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Despite the aggression on Hernanes's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Hernanes throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Belle is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
