Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johan Pahlm!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies shoots in looking for a takedown. Pahlm tries to sprawl out of it but Mies keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pahlm manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mies throws a shot from downtown. Pahlm moves away and avoids it.
Pahlm scores with a jab. Mies acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Pahlm throws a body punch but Mies moves out of range.
Mies misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pahlm.
Pahlm wants to counter with a clinch but Mies pushes him away.
Mies moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Mies lands a lovely overhand right.
Nice takedown defense from Pahlm. No joy for Mies on that attempt.
Mies is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pahlm.
Pahlm jabs Mies to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Mies counters with a one-two to the body.

Mies shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mies showed some decent athleticism there.

Pahlm has one foot on Mies's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

and Mies counters with a nice leg kick.
Pahlm misses with a straight right.
Pahlm takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pahlm is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mies. Pahlm does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pahlm throws a head kick that half lands.

Mies gets the takedown into side control.

Pahlm bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mies slips a jab and a cross from Pahlm.
Mies throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mies misses with a series of wild punches.
Mies throws a series of strikes that have Pahlm backpedaling.

Pahlm chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A jab from Pahlm misses.
Some wild striking there from Mies.
Pahlm ducks under a wild hook from Mies.
A slow jab from Mies misses its intended target.
Mies bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pahlm's head backwards.
Pahlm thuds a left hand into Mies's body.
Pahlm misses with an uppercut. Mies saw that one coming.
Mies looks for a takedown but Pahlm sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Projekti Mies. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A big right from Pahlm misses.
Pahlm slips under a jab.
Pahlm swings for the body but Mies moves out of range.
Pahlm tries a low kick but Mies avoids it.
Pahlm walks into a straight right hand from Mies.
Mies really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pahlm missing with a left hand there. Mies was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Oooooh!!! Pahlm has knocked Mies down with a huge combo! Pahlm steps away and waves a wobbly Mies back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Mies is rocked!
Mies has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pahlm.
Oh Mies is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pahlm cracks Mies with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Mies falls to his knees and Pahlm doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johan Pahlm!
