Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Goff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Droxx Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith gets a double leg takedown into Goff's guard.
Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Goff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Goff swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Goff is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Goff is looking for a kimura but Smith is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Goff to get the leverage.
Smith wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Goff looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Goff really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Smith got a little sloppy there for a moment and Goff has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smith has managed to get both his arms back between Goff's legs - danger averted.

Goff has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Goff will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Smith closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Droxx Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goff sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
Goff tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Goff.
Droxx Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goff tries to land a front kick but Smith steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Goff leaves Smith with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Smith is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Goff has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Goff!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
