Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Madhaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leroy Speed!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed tries to clinch there but Madhaki circles away.
Madhaki scores with a jab.
Speed tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Madhaki is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
A shot to the liver by Madhaki. Beautiful body shot.
Speed takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Speed rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Madhaki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Speed wants to clinch but Madhaki slips to the side
and Madhaki counters with a straight right hand.
Speed is looking to clinch.
Speed tries to clinch up.
Speed is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.


It looks like Leroy Speed has been cut.
Madhaki keeps the fight on the outside.
Madhaki is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Speed tries to clinch but Madhaki is having none of it.
Madhaki lands the left hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Speed tries to clinch there but Madhaki circles away.
Madhaki with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Speed tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Madhaki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Speed misses with a right hand
and Madhaki counters with a nice body shot.
Speed looks winded!
Madhaki bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Speed's head.
Leroy Speed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Speed moves in looking to clinch but Madhaki pushes him off.
Speed darts in trying to clinch
letting Madhaki counter with a right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Speed wants to clinch but Madhaki slips to the side
and Madhaki counters with a left and a right that stings Speed.
Madhaki is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Madhaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Madhaki scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Madhaki is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Speed takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Speed tries to clinch up
and Madhaki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Madhaki has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Speed misses with a left hand
and Madhaki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


That has opened up Leroy Speed's cut even more.
A big right from Speed misses.
Madhaki throws a big counter combination but Speed scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Speed takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Speed has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Speed there as he acknowledges the shot.
Madhaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Madhaki digs a good hook to Speed's body.
Madhaki catches Speed napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Speed crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Madhaki raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Josh Madhaki!
Josh Madhaki very nearly forgot to thank Urban Fighter amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
Leroy Speed was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll be back stronger and better'.
