The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to clinch there but Oppelaar circles away.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Oppelaar sprawls well.
Jones tried to score with a low kick but Oppelaar checks it.
Oppelaar shoots in but no luck this time.
Oppelaar lands a right hook to the body.
Oppelaar lands a jab to the nose.
Oppelaar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones is looking to clinch but Oppelaar is avoiding it.
Oppelaar looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Despite the aggression on Jones's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Oppelaar lands a big uppercut and Jones crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jones looks OK. Oppelaar waves Jones back to his feet!

Jones is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oppelaar throws out the jab.

Oppelaar cracks Jones with a big right hand and Jones goes down!
Jones is still in real trouble! Can Oppelaar finish him?
Oppelaar postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Jones covers up, he's hurt! Oppelaar keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Oppelaar and the ref steps in to end the fight! Oppelaar can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
