PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill The Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cordell Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Kid throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Walker throws a head kick that misses
enabling The Kid to counter with a crisp jab.

The Kid sends Walker crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! The Kid is motioning to the referee to let Walker up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Walker is rocked!

It looks like Cordell Walker has been cut.
Walker lands a nice shot that snaps The Kid's head back.

The Kid cracks Walker with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Walker looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can The Kid finish him?
Walker bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

The Kid feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Walker sprawling to the canvas! Walker rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can The Kid finish him?!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Walker might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, The Kid has got the better of the exchanges.

The Kid cracks Walker with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. The Kid has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Walker to stand back up!

The Kid sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Walker's defenses. It connects perfectly with Walker's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
