The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanamun shoots in looking for a takedown but James manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kanamun's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kanamun tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but James defends well and Kanamun ends up having to push James into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
James slaps away a takedown attempt from Kanamun, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Papas Kanamun. That's going to take a lot out of him.
James takes a swing at Kanamun's ribcage but misses.
James scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kanamun doesn't seem bothered though.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kanamun or perhaps it was just good defense by James, which made it look bad.
James raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
James lands a nice shot that snaps Kanamun's head back.
James misses with a head kick.
James fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kanamun to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kanamun looks to clinch but James throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kanamun taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
