The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terry shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Matras but Matras pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Terry enables Matras to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Terry manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Matras distracts Terry with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Matras slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Matras has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Matras is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Matras scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Terry is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Matras can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
