Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kelson Kawai!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kawai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Christ looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kawai lands with a slapping head kick.

Christ tries for a takedown but Kawai sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kawai has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Christ shoots in for a double leg but Kawai sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kawai gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

George Christ overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kawai is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Christ is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kawai is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
