Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stumpy Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Walter Frost!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost jabs Johnson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Frost stuns Johnson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Johnson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Johnson has a takedown stuffed.
Frost fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Johnson on the side of the head.
Johnson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Frost finds it's way round the side to connect with Johnson's head.

Frost stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Frost is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Johnson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frost is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him.

Frost finds Johnson's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Johnson flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Frost lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Johnson will be OK.

Walter Frost was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
