Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes to the cage accompanied by Get Low. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Griffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Randall!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randall takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Randall avoids the body shot from Griffin.
Randall will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Griffin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Jason Randall has been cut.
Griffin misses with a series of wild punches.
Griffin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Peter Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffin throws a right hand that Randall ducks under and follows up with a left that Randall also avoids with ease.
Griffin jabs Randall right on the nose. Randall blinks but takes it well.
Griffin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Randall tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Left hook, right uppercut from Griffin.
Randall fails to land the takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Griffin throws a series of punches but Randall moves out of range.
Randall changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Randall looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Griffin!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Randall has hold of Griffin's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Griffin seems comfortable defending it but Randall has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Griffin is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Griffin is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Randall couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jason Randall!
In defeat, Peter Griffin stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll put on a better show next time for you all, mark my words!'.
