Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hakeem Jabbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinto Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jabbar comes to the cage accompanied by Passion Pit - Carried Away. Hakeem Jabbar has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinto Tiger!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabbar keeps the fight on the outside.
A head kick misses from Tiger.
Tiger takes a swing at Jabbar's ribcage but misses.
Jabbar throws a head kick that misses.
Jabbar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jabbar takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Tiger moves in looking to clinch but Jabbar pushes him off.
Jabbar shoots in for a double leg but Tiger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jabbar wants to clinch.
Jabbar drops his hands momentarily and Tiger takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tiger swings for the body but Jabbar moves out of range.
Jabbar throws a hook to the side of Tiger's head but Tiger sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tiger throws a body punch but Jabbar moves out of range.
Jabbar wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Jabbar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jabbar shoots in for a takedown but Tiger shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tiger steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Jabbar.

Jabbar shoots for a double leg takedown but Tiger sprawls well. He's pushed Jabbar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hakeem Jabbar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tiger closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Tiger tries to clinch there but Jabbar circles away.
Jabbar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tiger is fending him off so far but Jabbar persists. Nope, Tiger circles away and we're back to standing.
Tiger feints and then cracks Jabbar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jabbar down.

Shinto Tiger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jabbar misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tiger let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Jabbar is looking to clinch.
Tiger fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Jabbar darts in and clinches Tiger up against the cage.
Tiger prevents a takedown attempt there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jabbar is trying to force a seperation but Tiger has the dominant position.
Tiger is leaning against Jabbar and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Our sources have told us that Jabbar has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Tiger lands a hook to the side of the head.
Tiger softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Tiger lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Tiger can't find room to land a body shot as Jabbar controls the action.
Tiger misses with the head strike.

Jabbar wants to get back to striking at distance but Tiger won't allow it.

Jabbar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tiger waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jabbar.
Jabbar takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Tiger moves out of range as Jabbar strikes.
Tiger throws a shot to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Tiger. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tiger.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tiger, right into the meat.

Jabbar shoots in and gets a takedown into Tiger's guard.
Tiger is pulling down on Jabbar's head. It's preventing any offense from Jabbar, at least for the moment.
Tiger not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tiger looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jabbar throws a big elbow that misses.

Jabbar throwing strikes from guard but Tiger blocks nicely.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tiger can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tiger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jabbar's guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tiger slips nicely into half guard.
Jabbar is refusing to be controlled, as Tiger sits in half guard.
Jabbar is looking to control Tiger's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jabbar avoid being mounted?
Tiger thows a huge punch but Jabbar dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shinto Tiger dominated that round.

Jabbar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tiger is fending him off so far but Jabbar persists. Nope, Tiger circles away and we're back to standing.
Hakeem Jabbar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Shinto Tiger has been cut.
Tiger cracks a nice hook into Jabbar's ribs.
Tiger comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jabbar moves out of range as Tiger strikes.
Tiger tries to clinch there but Jabbar circles away.
Jabbar shoots for a takedown but Tiger saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jabbar tries a head kick but it misses.
Tiger now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Jabbar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tiger defends well and Jabbar ends up having to push Tiger into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Still in the clinch, Tiger scores with a nice short uppercut.
Tiger has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Jabbar's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A left hand lands to the body for Tiger.
Tiger lands with a right to the head.
Tiger lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jabbar or not.
Tiger misses with a shot to the kidneys.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tiger digs a right hand underneath Jabbar's ribcage. Jabbar let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Jabbar is rocked!
Tiger scores with a nice hook to the head.
Oh Jabbar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tiger creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Jabbar's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Jabbar drops to his knees and Tiger pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shinto Tiger!
