Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Fa Arodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snoop Lion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lion's choice of entrance music: Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Snoop Lion has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lion clinches.
Lion has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fa Arodo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fa Arodo is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Lion wants to take the fight to the mat but Fa Arodo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Alex Fa Arodo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snoop Lion.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lion has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Lion thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Fa Arodo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lion passes Fa Arodo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Lion lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Lion thows a huge punch but Fa Arodo dodges it nicely.

Lion in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Fa Arodo tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lion!
