Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Chosen One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Oviedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oviedo has chosen Tiesto - Adagio for Strings as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oviedo falls off balance throwing a combination
and One counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Oviedo fails to land with a series of punches.
It looked like One was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Oviedo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

One has managed to clinch.
Oviedo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables One to keep the fight standing.
One dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from One fails to land.
One misses with a hook to the ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
One lands an uppercut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Oviedo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
One tries to work over Oviedo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
One tries a body shot but Oviedo blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from One fails to land.

That's one minute gone in the round.
One struggles to land a body shot inside as Oviedo controls his hands.
One throws a head punch that misses.
One can't find room to land a body shot as Oviedo controls the action.
One misses with a punch on the inside.
One working some nice short punches in the clinch.
One goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Oviedo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The Chosen One has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorge Oviedo.

One pushes Oviedo against the cage. One is working some dirty boxing. One pushes off with a quick right hook! Oviedo goes down! Oviedo tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! One moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
