Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nishu Dere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crank Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw tries to bum rush Dere with a series of wild strikes but Dere uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice shot lands for Shaw.
Dere closes the distance and clinches up with Shaw, looking for a takedown. Dere pushes Shaw against the cage but Shaw circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Shaw clinches with his opponent.
Dere fails to pull guard.
Dere is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Shaw is keeping busy.
Shaw lands a hook that snaps the head of Dere backwards.
Dere looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Dere takes a shot to the head.
Shaw misses with a body punch.
Dere drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shaw pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nishu Dere. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shaw throws a good cross that connects.

Dere moves into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shaw tries to work over Dere's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Shaw throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Deres head.
Dere looking for a takedown.
Dere jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shaw walks away with a smile on his face. Dere gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Crank Shaw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shaw on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dere. Dere obviously looking to wear him down.
Dere tries to clinch up but Shaw circles away and keeps his distance.
Shaw throws a shot to the body.
Dere wants to clinch up but Shaw keeps it at a distance.
Shaw wants to counter the offense by Dere and move into the clinch position.
Shaw lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Dere shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shaw as he jumps to the side.
Dere is breathing heavily.
Shaw bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dere's head.

Dere is rocked!
Shaw is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Dere flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Dere is out cold! Shaw holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
