Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jospeh Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Fairweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jospeh Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Fairweather!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay takes a head kick and shrugs it off.


It looks like Jospeh Clay has been cut.
Fairweather throws a head kick that misses.

Fairweather dives in and scores a takedown into Clay's guard.
Clay is wriggling around but Fairweather manages to pass to half guard.
Fairweather wants to take a breather but Clay is having none of it.

Clay manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Fairweather gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fairweather wants to stand and escape but Clay is having none of it.

Fairweather is working an open guard so Clay takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Fairweather fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Clay sprawls well initially but Fairweather persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fairweather trying to control the action but Clay is working from the bottom.
Fairweather missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Fairweather stops Clay from getting back to his feet.
Clay is pressing down on Fairweather's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Clay is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fairweather is aware though and is defending well.

Clay looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fairweather looking to pass the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fairweather prevents Clay from getting back to his feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Fairweather drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Clay is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fairweather is controlling him.
Fairweather controls from within his opponent's guard.
Clay wants to sweep here but Fairweather controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Clay uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Fairweather throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Clay.
Fairweather throws a head kick that misses

and Clay counters with a shoot takedown. Fairweather fights it but they end up in guard.

Fairweather is working an open guard so Clay takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Fairweather throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Clay counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Fairweather looks winded!

Clay pulls guard.
Clay wants to stand up but Fairweather is controlling him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Clay is trying to keep Fairweather in close.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clay wants to stand but Fairweather is controlling the position.
Fairweather trying to control but Clay is working from the bottom.
Fairweather sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Clay's guard.
Clay makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Clay.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jospeh Clay will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jospeh Clay's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Fairweather misses with a few strikes there.
Clay blocks a head kick by Fairweather.
Clay tries to counter by clinching up but Fairweather breaks away and moves out of range.
Fairweather throws a wild body kick that Clay sees coming a mile off.
Clay shoots and misses

and Fairweather counters with a crisp one two that drops Clay! Fairweather thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Clay to his feet! Clay is in big trouble!
Clay keeps the fight on the outside.
A punch lands to the side of Clay 's head but he takes it in his stride.


Clay is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Fairweather throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Clay is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bruce Fairweather!
