Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lorelei Donnahue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamoto Jang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jang misses with a takedown
and Donnahue makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Donnahue is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jang's half guard.
Jang wants to control but Donnahue is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Donnahue is working for a submission of some sort.
Donnahue tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jang knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Donnahue is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jang can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

A head kick from Donnahue lands but Jang takes it in his stride.

Donnahue fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jang to the ground. Donnahue is now in Jang's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Donnahue drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Donnahue got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Donnahue has managed to get both his arms back between Jang's legs - danger averted.

That's time! Donnahue's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Jang gets caught flat footed, as Donnahue shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Donnahue wants to get up but he can't break Jang's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jang has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Donnahue is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jang.
