Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tokyo Whiteman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Maiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tokyo Whiteman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Eddy Maiden!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whiteman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Maiden lands an overhand right.
Whiteman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tokyo Whiteman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maiden misses with an uppercut. Whiteman saw that one coming.

Whiteman goes for a double leg but Maiden avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Maiden continues to drive forward.

Whiteman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Maiden as he avoids it easily.
Maiden is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Whiteman had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Maiden's corner calls for a 1-2. Maiden obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Whiteman looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Whiteman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Maiden. That did some damage!
Whiteman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Maiden stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Whiteman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maiden looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

I would just about give that final round to Eddy Maiden.
Well Maiden has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
