Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vyrkyx Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Karter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vyrkyx Dall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Karter!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Karter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dall somewhat.

Dall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dall sitting in guard, not really doing much.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dall has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Karter pulls Dall in close to prevent any damage.
Karter tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dall wants to pass the guard but Karter is keeping the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Dall shoots for a takedown but Karter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Karter stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Dall throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Karter looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Karter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dall misses the jab.
Dall is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Karter.
A lazy left from Karter finds it's target.
Karter connects with a right hand. Dall shakes it off.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dall misses with a left hand
and Karter counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Karter throws a wild body kick that Dall sees coming a mile off.
Dall takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Karter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dall. Dall circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Karter bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Karter tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Karter scores with a punch to the head.
Karter is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Dall had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Karter fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dall on the side of the head.
Karter smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dall takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dall thows a left - swing and a miss!
Chris Karter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Karter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nice sprawl there from Karter as Dall shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vyrkyx Dall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Karter throws a series of punches but Dall moves out of range.
Karter throws a leg kick but Dall sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Karter has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dall is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Dall has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dall there as he acknowledges the shot.
Karter's corner calls for a 1-2. Karter obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Dall gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Karter counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Karter scores with a nice right hand.
Dall takes one to the side of the head.
Karter tries to close the distance and clinch but Dall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dall misses with a looping right.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Karter dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Karter throws a leg kick that misses.
Karter lands with a cross.
Karter misses with a low kick.
Dall throws a lazy uppercut
and Karter counters with a straight right hand.
Karter wants to clinch.
Nice straight punches there by Karter. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Karter.

Dall throws a hook to the side of Karter's head but Karter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Karter throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Karter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dall manages to avoid it.
Dall takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Karter fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dall on the side of the head.
Karter smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sloppy strikes from Karter. Those never looked like landing.
Karter has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Karter moves out of range as Dall strikes.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Dall.
Dall trying to control the position but Karter is working away.
Dall controls the position from side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dall looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Dall is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Karter connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Karter throws a low kick but Dall avoids it.

Dall drives through with a takedown into Karter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Dall forces his way into half guard.
Dall trying to control the action but Karter is working from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Karter wants to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Chris Karter will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Karter scores with a sloppy right hand. Dall should have avoided that one.
Dall throws an off balance right hand
and Karter counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Karter lands a lovely overhand right.

Dall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dall just content to control the position.
Dall is looking to take a break and control but Karter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dall controlling from side mount.
Dall's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Vyrkyx Dall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dall is looking to take a break and control but Karter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Karter lands a jab.

Karter closes the distance and clinches.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Karter.

Dall has hold of one of Karter's legs. Karter is fighting the takedown attempt but Dall gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Dall stays in close to Karter's body and controls the position.

Dall tries to free his leg and advance position but Karter is retaining full guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Chris Karter is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Dall looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Karter connects with a nice looking jab.

I would just about give that final round to Chris Karter.
I've got Karter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
