Ross is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sweet Home Alabama . Grover Haley has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Haley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ross tries to avoid it but Haley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ross to the ground. Ross escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ross got a little sloppy there for a moment and Haley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ross has managed to get both his arms back between Haley's legs - danger averted.

Grover Haley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ross looking to sit in guard and control but Haley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Ross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Haley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ross's guard.

Kenny Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Haley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Horrible takedown attempt by Haley or perhaps it was just good defense by Ross, which made it look bad.

Ross misses with an uppercut.
Haley shoots for a takedown but Ross saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Haley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ross.

Ross stops a takedown attempt from Haley.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grover Haley. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Haley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Sloppy strikes from Ross. Those never looked like landing.

Ross gets a clinch.

Haley has hold of one of Ross's legs. Ross is fighting the takedown attempt but Haley gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Haley is in close to Ross's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Haley gets to his feet. Ross looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Grover Haley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Haley fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ross has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Haley shoots in for a double leg but Ross sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A nice side step and Ross releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Kenny Ross.
I think Haley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
