Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David C. Marvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Terkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marvin and Alan Terkey. Marvin comes to the cage accompanied by Superman Theme. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Marvin misses the target.

Terkey drives through with a takedown into guard.

Marvin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Terkey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Marvin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Terkey defends it easily.

Marvin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Terkey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Terkey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Terkey wants to get up but he can't break Marvin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Terkey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marvin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Terkey trying to control but Marvin is working from the bottom.
Terkey might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Marvin haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Terkey looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Terkey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Marvin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Terkey has managed to get both his arms back between Marvin's legs - danger averted.

Terkey looking to improve position, pressing down on Marvin's thigh with his hand. Marvin seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Terkey paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Terkey's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Marvin picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
