Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Azusa Moribe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moribe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Krayzie Bone - Drama. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Moribe. Bishop shrugs it off though.
Bishop takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bishop misses with a low kick.
Moribe quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Moribe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bishop.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Moribe sneaks out the side door and pushes Bishop away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Moribe tries to work over Bishop's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bishop wants to improve his position but Moribe is controlling well.

Bishop throws a strike but Moribe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Moribe wants to pass to mount but Bishop is defending the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Bishop's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
