The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cottero lands a front kick.
Tenhunen looks to throw the jab but Cottero is out of range.
Kari Tenhunen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tenhunen sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Tenhunen throws a series of punches but Cottero moves out of range.
Tenhunen throws a right hand that Cottero ducks under and follows up with a left that Cottero also avoids with ease.

Tenhunen tests Cottero's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Tenhunen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cottero momentarily.
Cottero moves away from the strike by Tenhunen.
Tenhunen looks to land a left hand but Cottero moved out of range nicely.
That kick from Cottero tenderised Tenhunen's leg. Tenhunen is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Tenhunen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cottero won't be happy with that.
Cottero tries to bench press Tenhunen off him but Tenhunen keeps the position.

Tenhunen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cottero's guard.
