The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes stalks Dean and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dean's face. Dean staggers backwards, shaken.
The fighters circling - Hughes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dean throws an overhand right that lands on Hughes's shoulder, as Hughes tries to avoid the shot.

Dean uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hughes.
Hughes throws a body punch but Dean moves out of range.
Dean tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hughes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hughes lands a nice hook to Dean's body. Dean takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

It looks like Sam Dean has been cut.
Hughes moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hughes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Dean tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hughes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hughes lands a jab to the head.
Hughes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dean stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Hughes lands with a cross.

Dean's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hughes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dean scrambles back to his feet.

Oooooh!!! Hughes has knocked Dean down with a huge combo! Hughes steps away and waves a wobbly Dean back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Hughes connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Dean out cold! This one is over in a flash!
