Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frederic Gunines!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Nugent!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, John Mangel and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunines fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gunines looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Nugent closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gunines circles away.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nugent tries for a takedown but Gunines manages to get underhooks.
Gunines drops down looking for an ankle pick but Nugent pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nugent shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gunines eats them both and turns towards Nugent to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Frederic Gunines has been cut.
Nugent connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Gunines to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Nugent!
