Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dean Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koya Molar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Koya Molar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Molar wants it to stay on the feet.
A jab lands there for Molar.
Molar misses with a straight left.
Diaz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Molar throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Diaz shoots for a double leg takedown but Molar sprawls well. He's pushed Diaz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fighters circling - Molar throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Diaz clinches up against the cage.
Diaz tries to pull guard but Molar forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dean Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Molar is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Diaz jumps into guard, dragging Molar to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diaz wants to stand but Molar is controlling the position.

Diaz uses the cage to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Molar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Diaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Molar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Molar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Diaz gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Diaz tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Molar is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Diaz buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Diaz!! Diaz is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Molar throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Koya Molar!
After the fight, Koya Molar was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
