Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Viale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viale comes to the cage accompanied by Guns and Roses- Welcome to the jungle. Banner has chosen Pump Up The Jam as his entrance music. Bruce Banner acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Viale counters with a series of strikes. Banner will be more careful next time no doubt.
Viale connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Banner is rocked!
Banner slips a straight right by Viale.
Banner shoots in looking for a takedown but Viale manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Banner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A counter left hand to the body from Viale misses its target.
Banner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Viale circles away.
Banner ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Viale leaves Banner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mauro Viale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Banner.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Banner moves forwards but Viale connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Viale throws a nice looking combination but Banner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Banner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Viale as he jumps to the side.

A telegraphed right hand from Viale misses the target.
Banner changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Banner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Viale moves away.
Mauro Viale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Viale lands a big uppercut and Banner crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Banner looks OK. Viale waves Banner back to his feet!
Banner is still on wobbly legs! Can Viale finish him?
Viale misses with a hook. Banner ducked under it nicely.
Banner seems to have recovered his senses.

Viale rushes Banner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Banner is looking to take this one to the mat.
Banner misses with a hook from the clinch.
Viale can't break the clinch.
Viale wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Banner has him pressed against the cage.

Banner manages to pull guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Viale stopping the sweep attempt from Banner.

Banner keeping moving, preventing Viale from controlling successfully.
Viale trying to stand up but can't free himself from Banner's guard.
Viale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Banner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Viale would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Banner wants to sweep but no luck.
Banner seems keen to control Viale's posture.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Viale is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Banner has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Viale is looking to defend but Banner has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Viale! Banner pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Viale taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bruce Banner!
Bruce Banner decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Mauro Viale was interviewed post fight and said 'Grandpa,.....congratulations for the victory, sure Grandma will be happy. Just an advice, please take off your pants below the armpits.'.
