Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Randall Flagg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shotgun Trua!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trua slips a straight right by Flagg.
Flagg lands a glancing blow to the side of Trua's head.
Shotgun Trua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trua throws a body punch but Flagg moves out of range.
Trua takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Trua misses with a straight left.
Flagg throwing a counter right hand but Trua manages to avoid it.
Trua throws a nice outside leg kick.
Flagg takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A little feinted left hand from Flagg on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flagg swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Some bone on bone action there as Flagg checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Trua ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Trua tries to work over Flagg's front leg with a kick but Flagg checks it.
Flagg doesn't manage to clinch there - Trua circles away.
Flagg rushes Trua and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Flagg is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Trua working aggressively here.
Flagg lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Trua works on Flagg's body with a couple of short punches.
Flagg misses with the head strike.
Trua breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Flagg tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Trua manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Trua scores with a sloppy right hand. Flagg should have avoided that one.
Flagg displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Trua throws out the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Trua connects with a solid leg kick.
Good work by Flagg as he checks the leg kick.
Flagg getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Nice body kick there by Trua.
Flagg waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Trua.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sloppy strikes from Flagg. Those never looked like landing.
Flagg takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Trua displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Flagg throws out the jab.

Trua fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Flagg is out of range.

Flagg bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Trua fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Trua moves out of range as Flagg strikes.
Trua looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Trua moves away from the strike by Flagg.
Trua throws a lazy right hand but Flagg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Flagg moves out of range of the leg kick from Trua.
Flagg takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Flagg seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Trua misses with a body kick.
Flagg swings away with a body shot that misses
and Trua finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Flagg uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Flagg takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Flagg loads up on a big right hand but Trua slips the punch.
Trua looks for the body kick but Flagg saw that one coming.
A low kick from Trua is predictable there
and Flagg counters with a one-two to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Trua misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Flagg.
Flagg moves out of range of the body kick.
Trua feints and then cracks Flagg's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Flagg down.
Trua throws a body shot but no joy.
Trua lands a jab-cross combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shotgun Trua dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Trua looks to score with a jab to the body but Flagg is just out of range.
A quick step to the side and Flagg tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Trua bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Flagg's head.
Flagg connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Trua's hands.
Flagg blocks the body kick.
Flagg keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
It looked like Flagg was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Trua takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Flagg throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Trua is rocked!
Shotgun Trua seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Flagg throws an overhand right that has Trua reeling! Flagg follows up with more punches and Trua is out cold! This one is all over!
