Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alfredo Burt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfredo Capobianco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alfredo Burt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capobianco slips a jab and a cross from Burt.

Capobianco fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Burt to the ground. Capobianco is now in Burt's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Capobianco slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Burt wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Capobianco tries for a kimura but Burt is defending well.
Capobianco remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Capobianco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burt keeps working.
Burt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Burt looking for a sweep but Capobianco has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Capobianco goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Burt is on top in guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Capobianco working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Burt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Burt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Capobianco pushes Burt off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Burt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Capobianco throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Burt tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Capobianco is in Burt's guard.

Burt manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Burt has had enough of the clinch but Capobianco keeps him there for the moment.

Capobianco turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Burt manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Capobianco pushes Burt off looking to stand but Burt dives back in and keeps control.

Burt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Capobianco circles away quickly and effectively.
Alfredo Capobianco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alfredo Capobianco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Alfredo Burt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

A punch lands to the side of Capobianco 's head but he takes it in his stride.
